And gOS is not the only distro is putting into use LXDE, there are some other light distro which has started makes a move to LXDE from Gnome or even XFCE, including Ubuntulite.
Because popular proven Linux Used in netbook and also product ULPC ( Ultra Low Cost PC), no wonder if vendor look for light alternative for Gnome, thing suited for Used in segment hardware under without sacrificing too much fungsionality.
From the angle of fitur, LXDE is not far failed from Gnome. most Important everything that like tabbed file manager, session manager, appearance draws, terminal, editor text, altogether there have in LXDE, however framework applied very efficient and can work in hardware with specification far lower.
